Josette Bonafino

Founder and Director

I'll never forget my first trip to Europe as a 16 year old junior high school student. It literally changed my life. Suddenly all the people and places I had read about were right before my eyes.  I knew I wanted to be part of the broader world. In our ever increasing interdependent world, it's important to get young people enthusiastic about being part of the big picture. That's why when I'm not at CQ, you can find me planning social action art projects at MYX: Multicultural Youth Exchange, our nonprofit sister organization.

Jean Harris

Travel Program Director

I have always loved the adventure of travel - the history and people, the new sights, sounds, flavors and textures. And I think it's getting more important each day, that young people have first-hand experience
of the world as a part of their education. It makes history so much more concrete and illuminates just how interconnected we all are. So I can't think of a better way to spend my days, than helping people to
plan their next travel quest! I look forward to helping our clients plan the best possible trips for their needs and continue their investigation of the world.

Barbara Sykes

Group Operations Manager

I've been in customer service for most of my adult life and love to resolve issues and problems for people as they occur. Since my employment with Culture Quest, I've learned the business from the ground up. I have met operators and schools in Europe. I have traveled to Italy, Ireland, Germany, Spain, France, England, Puerto Rico, Guadeloupe, Mexico and Costa Rica. I enjoy interacting with teachers, parents and students. It is important for me to get to know our clients so that they always feel part of our team. I love to help them with financial questions about the tours.
