For group participants
- How can I pay for my tour?
You will have a payment schedule unique to your group. Culture Quest accepts certified checks, money orders, or personal checks. Unfortunately we cannot at this time accept credit cards. If you are already signed up for a Culture Quest tour, please go to our Personal Travel Center for specific information about your group's trip.
- How can I get or renew my passport?
Our Traveler Tools sections has links to help you get or renew your passport. In many cases you can download the necessary forms and order your passport by mail.
- How do I know if I need vaccinations, medical insurance, etc.?
All Culture Quest participants and group leaders are covered by international medical insurance for travel outside the U.S. We will confirm any vaccinations needed on your travel program confirmation. In addition, our Traveler Tools section has links regarding international health concerns before, during and after your trip."
- Can I use or accrue frequent flyer miles on my trip?
You can accrue frequent flyer miles for your trip, assuming of course you are enrolled in the airline's program, but unfortunately you may not use frequent-flyer miles for your airfare.
- What about seating arrangements on the flights?
Culture Quest does not arrange individual seating arrangements for its travelers, but many groups find that informal arrangements can be made between tour participants to allow for different individual preferences. All groups travel in Coach class - individuals may not upgrade their seating section.
- How do you screen homestay families?
All host homes are inspected for quality, safety and friendliness by our local homestay partners, but students are reminded that the type of housing and meals vary from family to family and country to country.
- Are students allowed out at night unescorted?
This is largely left to the discretion of the group leaders, based on the age and nature of the group involved. See our Terms & Conditions for more information.
- Is drinking allowed?
As you probably know, laws regarding alcoholic beverage consumption vary widely between countries. Culture Quest however maintains a strict no-drinking policy for anyone under 21 years of age.
